What could be more romantic that spending your first nights as a married couple than in a tower set on wooded terraces in wonderful Provence. This totally unique building was build 40 years ago as the romantic get away for Timothy and Santa Burrill, set in 5 acres of land, with 3 other houses, it’s was the secluded get away to give them the privacy they craved when entertaining friends in the other houses.

It is designed in the local building materials, basic, but with a few mod cons that no one should live without, such as a dishwasher. On the ground floor you have the sitting room come kitchen come dinning area, with a wood fire to cuddle up in front of on cool nights. The staircase leads up to the bedroom, the king-size bed takes up most of this space as you would expect in a place built for romance. The staircase then leads up a well equipped bathroom. There are no doors in this irresistibly quirky building, making intimacy a must. See the separate page for La Tour under cottages for more information.

There is as much (or as little) for a honeymoon couple to do in the local area, from wonderful beaches, food and flee markets to explore, many cultural sights like Aix en Provence, picturesque seaside and mountain walks, and copious amounts of tasty food and delicious wine to taste.

Out of season this can be a very private retreat for honeymooners as the rest of the houses are often empty leaving you with the whole place to yourselves, taking strolls round the rest of the property or just knowing you have the whole place to yourself is magical. However even when the other houses are rented out La Tour is set apart from them, giving you a sense of privacy not found in many other places.

La Daby is situated only 1 hour from Marseille airport, with BA now flying direct from London Heathrow, or Easy Jet and Ryanair air from other airports, it’s also a very easy route by Eurostar, so close to England, so you can start you honeymoon sooner.
