F1 Circuit Paul Ricard

Formula 1: Circuit Paul Ricard

For all you petrol heads out there or even for those that just love the smell of burning rubber and the beauty and speed of a McLaren MCL33, the Circuit Paul Ricard will be the place for you. We are lucky enough to own a small enclave of well equipped cottages set in ancient terraced olive groves with a shared pool. The cottages can be rented all together or separately and the circuit is a 10 minute drive away. The perfect place to unwind after the deafening roar of Formula 1 racing.

Opened on 19 April 1970, the original track was dominated by the 1.8 km long Mistral Straight that is followed by the high-speed right hand Signes corner. The long main straight and other fast sections made the track very hard on engines as they ran at full revs for extended spells. On 5 December 2016, it was announced that the French Grand Prix would return to the Formula 1 calendar for the 2018 season at Paul Ricard. It was the first French Grand Prix since 2008 and the first at Circuit Paul Ricard since 1990.

From 21st-23rdJune this year The French Formula 1 Grand Prix will take place. Many activities and concerts will set the pace of the weekend for spectators: a fan zone, two activity villages, the reconstruction of a Provencal village, music, concerts every evening, and a breath-taking display on the track. Spectators with a 3-day Pass will also have the opportunity to participate in the exclusive day on Thursday with a visit to the pit lane and autograph sessions with the drivers.

They also run driving experiences, Go Karting, sunset bike rides around the track from April to November. See Calendar;https://www.circuitpaulricard.com/en/calendar
